Older Works
This page includes some photographs of the products I designed and created at high school in GCSE Graphics and art as well as some of the assignments I completed at College. I extremely enjoy creating these posters and products, as well as learning new skills and techniques.
The work I relish the most involves designing posters, logos, making and designing packaging. I also enjoy creating digital projects as I feel as though this is a strength. My most favourite pieces of work are: ‘Words in Space Poster’ and the ‘Doodle project’.
With the ‘Words in Space’ I used different skills and techniques which I had learnt in previous assignments, for example; cut-and-paste, relief prints, and computer programmes like Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3, assembling lots of different ideas to create a poster for the ‘three day festival of poetry’ at the ‘Cornerhouse’ in Manchester. The ‘Doodle’ project involved creating an A2 doodle drawing, drawing anything I desired. After I did this, I divided the A2 page into 9 and traced over each area using different techniques on A5 paper, I then scanned the best parts of the drawing into the computer, re-designed and created a book cover.
